Sculpture intervention in the nooks by Krista Buecking and Lyndsey Cope, Music performance by Laura Borealis with Andrew Scott and Matt Murphy
Instant Coffee take over the front and back galleries with a sculptural social environment based on familiar feeling seating nooks, which the collective uses to engage audiences in event-based activities such as slide lectures and readings, video screenings, meetings, a magazine launch and a catered dinner.
In the Back Room at Mercer Union
Instant Coffee presents Static Edition Wallpaper 2nd Screening. A number of Canadian artists were asked to activate the Instant Coffee wallpaper by projecting videos. The wallpaper acts as the ground for each video work, enhancing the design or sullying it.
